Water-oil separators are used to clean condensate from oil particles.
When air is compressed by a compressor, condensate is formed in the pneumatic system, which is removed from it with the help of condensate traps. Along with the water in the condensate, there are small oil droplets carried away from the compressor, dust particles and wear products of the compressor itself. The most harmful to the environment are the remnants of compressor oil, because its concentration significantly exceeds the permitted norms for draining into the sewer.

ECOTRON water-oil separators absorb oil with special filters and purify the water to a minimum "harmless" oil concentration.
