End coolers and separators are designed to remove moisture from compressed air. Unlike refrigeration type dehumidifiers, compressed air end coolers do not have a freon circuit and cannot cool compressed air with a high temperature at the inlet. Such devices are installed after the compressor to reduce the temperature to values that meet the operating conditions of the dryer.
